9:35 A.M. Held a Board of Corrections meeting. <br /> 10:43. A.M. Adjourned the Board of Correction meeting and returned to the regular <br /> meeting. <br /> 4. COUNTY ATTORNEY— County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf stated he wanted the board <br /> to be aware that he has been working with the attorneys from Wood River, Cairo and <br /> Doniphan on the Interlocal agreement. They will be presented to the local boards and <br /> some of those boards may only meet once a month. He will send a copy of the <br /> agreement so the board members can look at it. <br /> 7. DISCUSS AND APPROVE REAPPOINTMENT OF SHARENA ANSON AND <br /> MICHAEL SWANSON TO THE HALL COUNTY VISITORS PROMOTION ADVISORY <br /> COMMITTEE - Lancaster stated that they recommended to appoint Sharena Anson, <br /> Owner of the Chocolate Bar and Michael Swanson with Verizon Wireless to the Visitors <br /> Promotion Advisory committee. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the appointment of <br /> Sharena Anson and Mike Swanson to the Visitors Promotion Advisory Committee. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Purdy was absent. Motion carried. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS — CHAIRMAN Arnold called for <br /> committee or board member reports. <br /> Schuppan stated the attended an ice jam meeting held by Jon Rosenlund. <br /> BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT— Stacey reminded the board members of an <br /> insurance committee meeting after the board meeting. <br /> 18 FACILITIES — <br /> A) DISCUSS REQUEST FOR COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING — Mr. Humphrey stated <br /> that the work at the court house is proceeding they are installing the air boxes and they <br /> will have heating coils in them. Quandt asked when the project is to be completed and <br /> Loran stated they still think May. <br /> Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka stated that worker's compensation court is still using <br /> the committee meeting room and Judge Luther may need to use the board room for <br /> court. So the rooms may be busy. <br /> Mr. Humphrey reviewed the list of requests from Randy See and explained that most of <br /> them will be addressed by his staff. He has scheduled a walk through with the <br /> contractor tomorrow and they will address what needs to be repaired or changed. <br /> Lancaster asked what the final cost would be and Mr. Humphrey stated that they are at <br /> about $28,000.00 right now but they do not have all of the bills. They anticipated <br /> moving the first part of January. <br /> 4 <br />
