The vote on the motion was taken, Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> CONSTRUCTION UPDATE. -- Mr. Humphrey stated that they are a little ahead of schedule. <br /> Judge Young's chambers and court rooms are put back together and all cleaned up. They <br /> repainted the library and installed new lights and ceilings. They are now working on Judge <br /> Luther's courtroom and it is going well. They have removed the ceiling and it should be <br /> completed in 3 weeks. They are also going to fix the paneling behind the judge's bench and <br /> they have the plans for that and Judge Luther has approved them. <br /> The County Office building restroom has been completed and they are about 60% done in the <br /> women's restroom. The juvenile diversion area has new ceilings, the painting is done and they <br /> are waiting for a door that is to be installed. He reported that they hold a construction meeting <br /> every Thursday. The air handling units are in the courthouse and they are installing new water <br /> lines. He encouraged the board to look at the Judge Young's courtroom. <br /> Lanfear stated that they need to clean out some of the junk in the old health department building <br /> it is filled up and needs to be cleaned out. They will need to declare it as surplus and dispose of <br /> it. Mr. Humphrey stated they have a list and will let the departments look at it to see if there is <br /> anything anyone wants. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS —Chairman Arnold called for new or unfinished business <br /> and Mr. Quandt asked if there was going to be a deadline on the applications for the corrections <br /> director. The committee will bring this back to the board. <br /> Mr. Purdy asked if the board was going to hold the December 29 2015 meeting. The County <br /> Treasurer needs to send notices for exemption applications and need to know what meeting to <br /> address them.
