RECOGNITION OF HALL COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSIONER DALE BAKER FOR THE <br /> NEBRASKA ASSOCIATION OF SECRETARIES OF STATE MEDALLION AWARD — Lancaster <br /> stated that Dale Baker has received a national award from Secretary of State John Gale for her <br /> service to Hall County, the state and nation as a county official. She was presented this award <br /> in October. She has been election commissioner for 16 years. Richardson read quotes from <br /> John Gale regarding her accomplishments. She noted that you can now register to vote on the <br /> web site, she prints her own ballots that saves money, and has also had the drop box for ballots <br /> installed. Quandt stated that if things are not exactly right the new media will let you know. <br /> Schuppan stated that the board appreciates that she is proactive and do not always appreciate <br /> what she does. Purdy stated that she is well respected by her peers. Richardson also thanked <br /> Denise for help, they are a great team. Dale stated that she appreciates being recognized for <br /> doing her job. <br /> 1B APPROVE VETERAN'S PROCLAMATION -The resolution was read by Don Shuda <br /> honoring all Veterans on November 11th <br /> Richardson made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve Resolution #15-069 <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 9:15 a.m. Held a Board of Equalization meeting <br /> 9:22 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Equalization meeting and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEY - EXECUTIVE SESSION — LITIGATION STRATEGY— Lanfear made a <br /> motion and Purdy seconded to go into executive session regarding litigation strategy. This <br /> executive session is to protect the public interest. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 9:23 a.m. executive session <br /> 10:16 a.m. Quandt made a motion and Lanfear seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no.
