Janulewicz spoke in regard to amending the County codes for building, plumbing and signs. He has compared the county codes with national, and fire marshal' codes and we have a conflict. Need to enforce or amend current codes and his opinion to the Board Members was to amend the codes. He ~illhave a resolution to amend and adopt the 1991 codes, but Public Works Committee needs to present a written recommendation. Janulewicz reported he needs to get the final agreement reviewed by the Rural Fire Department for agreement and lease of garage and storage space for their equipment, materials and supplies at County's Highway Department garage located in part of Sl/2 SE1/4 29-12-9 Hall County. PUBLIC HEARING; to consider request from Aurora Coop for Conditional Use Permit located part of NEl/4 NE1/4 26-11-12 Hall County. Affidavit of publication was read as published in Grand Island Daily Independent on Thursday, December 10, 1992. Chairperson Landis opened the public hearing with opening statements and asked Nelson Helm Regional Planning Commission Director to speak. Helm stated the County Board has the right to approve or deny ~equest for conditional use permit and the process does not require rezoning. Rod Schroeder, General Manager of Aurora Coop spoke and introduced Kenneth Regier, Farmer and President of their Board; Dan Beck local manager for Aurora Coop, Rex Riedy, who is to be the manager of the new operation if approved. Schroeder explained the reason for their request for conditional Use Permit. Rex Riedy spoke in regard'to traffic counts and related figures for the areas.
