<br />Max Morse, Mid Plains Center presented information on the Childr' n's Village
<br />Family Resource Center and answered questions from the Board members. Each
<br />Board member was given written copy of the reports.

<br />Letter was read in regard to agreement with Attention Center, Lancaster County,
<br />Lincoln, Nebraska.
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Hartman to refer agreement to County Attorneys
<br />office for recommendation. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Discussion on county auction sale to be held Saturday, November 28, 1992 at
<br />11:00 A.M. at 2807 W 2nd Street. Discussed on whether to sell van formerly
<br />owned by Children's Village or to keep it for county use. Also discussed the
<br />vehicle to be used by County Assessor's office.
<br />
<br />Discussion on claims audited today. Several were discussed.

<br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Hartman to hold claim from Davis Surveying for
<br />1 week for clarification from Hostler, Public works Director. On roll call
<br />vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes,
<br />none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Discussion on Hall County Court claim, . also Mary Lanning Hospital claim and
<br />two claims from Sheriff's Department that were held from October claim review.
<br />Determined to pay Hall County Court and Mary Lanning Hospital claim but to
<br />continue to hold two claims from Sheriff's Department.
<br />
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to approve and authorize payment of
<br />claims audited today. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie,
<br />Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Frauen to adopt Resolution #1444 as presented
<br />except Board Assistant to add the 1990 van to the list. On roll call vote
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, wright and Landis voted yes, none voted
<br />no, Quandt was absent from the room. Motion carried.

<br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS
<br />PROPERTY AND APPOINTING AN AGENT TO SELL SAID PROPERTY.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the County of Hall owns certain items of
<br />personal property which were utilized by county officers,
<br />offices, departments, and agencies which items are no longer
<br />needed for county purposes, an inventory of which is marked
<br />exhibit "A" and is attached hereto and incorporated herein
<br />by reference; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the County Board of Supervisors desire to sell
<br />the aforesaid items as set forth in exhibit nAn at public
<br />sale to the highest bidder; and .
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the County Board of Supervisors desires to
<br />engage the services of Torn Wieck, a professional auctioneer
<br />to advertise and conduct such sale under the terms set forth
<br />herein.
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Hall County Board
<br />of Supervisors as follows:
<br />
<br />1. That the items of personal property as set forth in
<br />exhibit "An are hereby found and declared to be surplus and
<br />are obsolete or not usable by the County.
<br />
<br />2. That Tom Wieck is hereby engaged to sellon behalf
<br />of the county the property as set forth in exhibit "A" and
<br />shall receive as consideration the sum of five hundred
<br />dollars ($500.00) or 10% of the aggregate gross sales
<br />amount, whichever is higher.
<br />
<br />3. That said public sale shall be held on November 28,
<br />1992 at 11:00 a.m. at 2807 West Second Street, Grand Island.
<br />
<br />4. That said property shall be sold as individual
<br />items or in lots as necessary to facilitate the sale and
<br />realize the highest price for said property, under the
<br />following conditions:
<br />
<br />a. That no person shall make or imply any
<br />warranty of any kind whatsoever as to the
<br />nature, use, condition, or fitness for a
