<br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Quandt to hold EPC patient claim until next
<br />week. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis
<br />voted yes, ,Hartman voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie to approve I lyment of claims submitted
<br />and audited today, except for those held for clarification. On roll call vote
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Wright and Landis voted yes, Quandt voted
<br />yes on all claims except one for Shopko, submitted by District Judge. Motion
<br />carried.

<br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant report:
<br />(1) County offices have ~;ubmitted the list of surplus items for auct. i.on sale.
<br />Extension office has cabinets, bulletin boards, paper towel holders ~tc which
<br />are attached to walls in old offices. Should they be removed for auction sale
<br />or left and sold with the building. (Board members said to leave with building) .
<br />(2) Sent letter to Ron Bowmaster at State in regard to the Commuication Center
<br />link request for AS/400 system (3) Had received the listing of Convention
<br />Bureau bills (4) Letter from Janine Bruder, Risk Manager of Insurance with
<br />NACO in regard to insurance coverage for computers in county offices (5) Request
<br />from County Treasurer to use the County Board room for School Land Lease sale
<br />on Friday, November 13, 1992. (6) Update report on the CPR classes for county
<br />employees. Estimated cost of $180.00 to $200.00 and Howard Jensen, Sheriff
<br />Department will conduct the classes on November 3,4 & 5 and 10, 11, 12, 1992,
<br />from 7 to 10:00 P.M.
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Abernethy the expenses for CPR classes
<br />for county employees to be paid by county from the Safety committee budget.
<br />On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis
<br />voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Quandt stated the sign for W, ed Control buildi~g needs to be paid to Tri City
<br />Sign and board members appro. ~d paying from Inheritance Fund, the same place
<br />building was paid from.

<br />Cha:~rman Landis appointed Bookmobile Committe for Hartman, Chairman, Quandt and
<br />Abernethy. The Ambulance Committee Frauen, Chairman, Hartman anc 0.uandt and
<br />als( Jerry Janulewicz from County Attorney's office.
<br />Board Assistant has drafted letter to Library Board in regard to c( JllIIIli ttee
<br />meeting for board members to consider and sign.

<br />Audit Committee will meet Wednesday, October 21 at 9:45 A.M. in County Board
<br />Room.

<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie to hold claims from Sheriff's department
<br />for fee collections until audit committee gets answer from Deputy County
<br />Attorney. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright
<br />and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Frauen asked if any board members are interer-ted in going to Cou.ty Park for
<br />meeting to view the operation of chipper which will be demostrated by firm from
<br />Lincoln. (Board Chairman asked Frauen to set up the meeting and let Board
<br />members know when) .

<br />Ellen Merrill to check with NACO in regard to lid limit on meals and expenses
<br />for county departments.
<br />
<br />Chairman adjourned the meeting at 12:07 P.M. Next meeting will be Tuesday,
