Lanfear stated they tried to work with him but he is determined to not come into compliance. He <br /> asked Mr. Zitterkopf if he wanted support from the board but he has the power to do this. Mr. <br /> Zitterkopf stated he wants support from the entire board. <br /> Arnold noted that he was told he was not in compliance but went ahead anyway and we do not <br /> go out and check unless there is a complaint from the neighbors. If zoning regulations are <br /> violated it is a class three misdemeanor. <br /> Lancaster expressed concern that is not about the conditional use permit it is the point that the <br /> board should know what is going on. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Lanfear seconded to give the County Attorney the authority to <br /> move forward with the letter. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Arnold stated that the county attorney has the authority to do this. <br /> 4b) COUNTY ATTORNEY - DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING THE <br /> COUNTY'S LEASE WITH DR. JERRY DENTON — County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf stated he <br /> received a letter from Dr. Denton requesting to be released from his lease. He proposed that he <br /> would be out by the first of January. Mr. Zitterkopf stated that he talked with Connie Hultine and <br /> Y Y p <br /> she stated that she will have staff to fill the space. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Purdy seconded to authorize the Chair to sign the release with <br /> Jerry Denton. He will pay through the end of December. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, <br /> Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 4c) DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON REPLACING HOT WATER HEATERS FOR JAIL <br /> This would need to be approved by the Hall County Board not the Board of Corrections. <br /> 9:30 A.M. held a board or corrections meeting. <br /> 10:13 a.m. returned to the regular meeting <br /> Held a 5 minute break <br /> 8. DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING DECEMBER 29TH BOARD MEETING <br /> County Treasurer Peg Pesek has to send notice for the motor vehicle exemption applications <br /> and needed to know when the meetings in December would be scheduled. Discussion was <br /> held and the December 29, 2015 meeting will be held. <br /> 12. DISCUSS & APPROVE ADDITION OF TODD MCCOY TO THE VISITORS PROMOTION <br /> COMMITTEE TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF DOUG STANGE - <br /> There was a recommendation from the Visitor Promotion Committee to appoint Todd McCoy to <br /> fill the unexpired term of Doug Stange who resigned. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the appointment of Todd McCoy. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> BOARD ASSISTANT- Stacey stated that she did not have a report <br /> 4 <br />
