Motion carried. <br /> <br />Recessed for Board of Equalization at 9:35 A.M. and returned to regular <br />session at 9:38 A.M. <br /> <br />Jan Pelland, County Assessor presented tax correction notices #3126 thru <br />#3153 <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to authorize the tax correction <br />notices #3126 thru #3153. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, <br />Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />County Assessor Pelland and Supervisor Quandt reported on the Sheriff vehicles <br />they had been asked to look at. Assessor is using the 1988 Ford with 110,000 <br />miles. Will use for couple weeks to see what works out. <br /> <br />Beth Holthusen, Acting Program Administrator for Region III spoke about the <br />EPC program and the past due bills unpaid due to statute. Region III will <br />pay the past due bills over 90 days billing (Ha~l County $14,100.) will request <br />counties to reimburse Region III for payment. <br /> <br />EPC Amended le~ter of agreement with Regional III Governing Board was presented. <br />Following discussion, motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to authorize <br />chairman to sign the letter of agreement with Region III. On roll call vote <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Supervisor Hartman was excused at 10:10 A.M. to attend the funeral of Robert <br />Wilhelmi, a County Highway Department employee. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> <br />Frauen spoke in regard to the inventories and board members reviews. Discussion <br />followed and County Board Assistant to look into inventory of county property <br />and numbering system and meet with Building & Grounds Committee and make a <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Abernethy reported on the inventories she had reviewed. <br />the program at Stuhr Museum on Sunday. <br /> <br />Also she attended <br /> <br />Leslie reported on Building & Grounds Committee meeting on the odor control <br />in Administration building and cost of $1187.00 for single machine with <br />filter replacements to cost $3.55 each. <br />The following written committee report was read: <br /> <br />The Building and Grounds Committee recommends the Board <br />accept the proposal of Filter Specialists, Inc., and enter <br />in to a contract for odor control equipment to be installed <br /> <br /> <br />, in the Administ::;;j:~~~ <br /> <br />Richard Hartman <br />
