<br />9c:?~ <br /> <br />3/~ <br /> <br />@ <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, SEPTEMBER 29, 1992 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned session <br />~ and by published call with Chairperson Margaret Landis presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, <br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Bill Wright. None were absent. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Abernethy. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given <br /> <br />Minutes of September 22nd meeting were approved as received, on motion by <br />Quandt, seconded by Frauen. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, <br />Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />County Attorney Ellen Totzke was present. She spoke in regard to the service <br />agreement with Grand Island Area Solid Waste Aaencv. Only change addition of <br />paragraph 11. AllocC;ltion of ~mouJ1t. df~ f-acili ty Bonds. <br />Motion by Leslig, seconded by Frauen to approve and authorize signing the <br />Service Agreement with Grand Island Area Solid Waste Agency. On roll call vote <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />County Attorney also had prepared resolution to amend the resolution #1393 <br />in regard restricted parking areas and parking lots abutting and adjoining <br />the City-County Public Safety Center and the Hall County Courthouse. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1428 as pre- <br />sented. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright <br />and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # I~o<~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RESTRICTED PARKING AREAS AND <br />RESTRICTED PARKING LOTS ABUTTING AND ADJOINING'THE <br />CITY-COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY CENTER AND THE HALL COUNTY <br />COURTHOUSE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hall, Nebraska, is the owner of <br />a parking lot which adjoins or abuts the City-County Safety <br />Center and a parking lot which is located to the north of <br />the Hall County Jail Building between the County Department <br />of Social Services Building and the County Courthouse; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the county, being the owner of the aforesaid <br />parking lots, desires to restrict parking in such lots as <br />set forth herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the restriction of parking in the aforesaid <br />lots is in the best interest of the County. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved as follows: <br /> <br />I. Definitions. As used herein, the following terms shall <br />have the following meaning: <br /> <br />1. "Police Parking" shall mean parking areas <br />restricted to and exclusively for the parking of <br />vehicles owned or operated by the City of Grand Island <br />which are utilized for official police department <br />purposes and such other vehicles as authorized by the <br />Grand Island Police Chief. <br /> <br />2. "Police Patrol Car Parking" shall mean parking <br />areas restricted to and exclusively for the parking of <br />police patrol vehicles owned or operated by the City of <br />Grand Island. <br /> <br />3. "Sheriff's Parking" shall mean parking areas <br />restricted to and exclusively for the parking of <br />vehicles owned or operated by the County of Hall and <br />which are utilized for official sheriff's department <br />purposes, and such other vehicles as authorized by the <br />Hall County Sheriff. <br /> <br />4. "Sheriff's Patrol Car Parking" shall mean parking <br />areas restricted to and excl~ively for the parking of <br />sheriff's department patro~~ehicles owned or operated <br />by the County of Hall. <br />
