9c:?~ 3/~ @ HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, SEPTEMBER 29, 1992 The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned session ~ and by published call with Chairperson Margaret Landis presiding. Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Bill Wright. None were absent. Invocation was given by Abernethy. Pledge of Allegiance was given Minutes of September 22nd meeting were approved as received, on motion by Quandt, seconded by Frauen. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. County Attorney Ellen Totzke was present. She spoke in regard to the service agreement with Grand Island Area Solid Waste Aaencv. Only change addition of paragraph 11. AllocC;ltion of ~mouJ1t. df~ f-acili ty Bonds. Motion by Leslig, seconded by Frauen to approve and authorize signing the Service Agreement with Grand Island Area Solid Waste Agency. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. County Attorney also had prepared resolution to amend the resolution #1393 in regard restricted parking areas and parking lots abutting and adjoining the City-County Public Safety Center and the Hall County Courthouse. Motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1428 as pre- sented. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. RESOLUTION # I~o<~ A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RESTRICTED PARKING AREAS AND RESTRICTED PARKING LOTS ABUTTING AND ADJOINING'THE CITY-COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY CENTER AND THE HALL COUNTY COURTHOUSE WHEREAS, the County of Hall, Nebraska, is the owner of a parking lot which adjoins or abuts the City-County Safety Center and a parking lot which is located to the north of the Hall County Jail Building between the County Department of Social Services Building and the County Courthouse; and WHEREAS, the county, being the owner of the aforesaid parking lots, desires to restrict parking in such lots as set forth herein; and WHEREAS, the restriction of parking in the aforesaid lots is in the best interest of the County. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved as follows: I. Definitions. As used herein, the following terms shall have the following meaning: 1. "Police Parking" shall mean parking areas restricted to and exclusively for the parking of vehicles owned or operated by the City of Grand Island which are utilized for official police department purposes and such other vehicles as authorized by the Grand Island Police Chief. 2. "Police Patrol Car Parking" shall mean parking areas restricted to and exclusively for the parking of police patrol vehicles owned or operated by the City of Grand Island. 3. "Sheriff's Parking" shall mean parking areas restricted to and exclusively for the parking of vehicles owned or operated by the County of Hall and which are utilized for official sheriff's department purposes, and such other vehicles as authorized by the Hall County Sheriff. 4. "Sheriff's Patrol Car Parking" shall mean parking areas restricted to and excl~ively for the parking of sheriff's department patro~~ehicles owned or operated by the County of Hall.
