<br />County Clerk presented the 1992 inventories for County Offices.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to receive the 1992 inventories and
<br />place on file for county board members review. On roll call vote Abernethy,
<br />Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quadnt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Each Board member took 4 office inventories to review and check out.

<br />Chairman called recess at 12:03 P.M. for lunch and return to session at 1:30 PM.

<br />near Grand Island. Recommend installation of traffic signals instead
<br />of adding loops at this location.

<br />COVMITTEE REPORTS:

<br />Hartman reported on exchange of loader at highway department.
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Frauen to authorize Dan (Public Works
<br />Director) to proceed with the exchange of loader. On roll call vote Abernethy,
<br />Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no.
<br />Motion carried.

<br />Abernethy reported on Head Start meeting, reported had placed an ad for
<br />additional students. She attended the Keno meeting last Wednesday, NACO
<br />Central District meeting last Thursday and Region III Governing Board meeting
<br />last Friday and reported on the EPC patient services and provided each board
<br />member with written information.
<br />
<br />Wright reported on the Geotechnical Services proposals for sampling at Weed
<br />Control office on West Stolley Park Road. Recommends accepting option 4 in
<br />the report. .. ..
<br />Motion by Hartman, I seconoe4J by Wright to proceed with option 4 for cost
<br />of $1650.00 On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt,
<br />Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Wright reported the Keno Committee met to update their information. The
<br />Committee will make trip to Omaha on September 30th and Big Red Keno will
<br />give them a tour of the eastern Nebraska keno operations. The Committee
<br />is gathering information and master file will be kept in Ellen Merrill's
<br />office.
<br />
<br />Landis reported on the NACO meeting last Thursday in Kearney which was
<br />attended by Abernethy, Leslie, Landis and Merrill.
<br />
<br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant asked if Board members had viewed the
<br />sign at Weed Control building as still holding claim for payment. Quandt
<br />will contact the installers and see if changes can be made.
