On roll call vote <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Tort Claim was presented and read from Pauline E Urban by her attorney Ronald <br />S. Depue for $100,000.00 for damages to compensate for medical & hospital <br />expenses,disability etc as result of personal injuries sustained about Sept- <br />ember 21, 1991 while walking near rental unit 140 Pletcher Terrace, Grand <br />Island. <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Abernethy to receive claim and refer to <br />County Attorney for direction. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, <br />Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to place on file all communications <br />received today. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> <br />Hartman reported on the Mid Nebraska Individual Service meeting held last week. <br />He also presented a petition with approximately 76 names for Hall County Board <br />to pave the Cameron Cemetery Road from Highway Eleven to the Cemetery. <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Hartman to receive and place on file the <br />petition presented. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, <br />Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Abernethy reported on meeting she attended last week in Kearney for the <br />Region III Mental Health Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />Leslie stated he thought Board Members should decide soon what they plan to <br />do with the county building on Stolley Park Road. <br />Wright stated this was discussed at Weed Control Authority Board meeting last <br />night. He will have a full report for next week's meeting. <br /> <br />Uuandt reported on Senior Citizens Industries meeting he attended. <br /> <br />Wright reported they will have a Keno Committee meeting at 9:00 A.M. tomorrow <br />morning. <br /> <br />Leslie reported that last week he made motion to notify Property owners within <br />area around Condition Use Permit requests. He stated 300 yards around the <br />area should be sufficient and Building Inspector should notify owners since <br />he receives the request and the fee. Letter should be sent to Building Inspec- <br />tor to notify him. <br /> <br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant reported a copy of audit for Visitors <br />Promotion Bureau is on file in her office and also County Clerk's office. <br /> <br />Chairman adjourned the meeting at 3:47 P.M. <br />September 22, 1992 at 9:00 A.M. <br /> <br />Next meeting will be Tuesday, <br /> <br /> <br />~-.~ <br /> <br />Marj~ld' Hall County Clerk <br />
