<br />... <br /> <br />r~~-~3Y- <br /> <br />The <br />and <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, JULY 28, 1992 <br /> <br />Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A~M from adjourned <br />by published call with Chairperson Margaret Landis presiding. <br /> <br />session <br /> <br />- <br />.~ <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, <br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Bill Wright. None were absent. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Abernethy. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of July 21st meeting were accepted as received, on motion by Quandt, <br />seconded by Frauen. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, <br />Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mrs Bill Eppert, who lives at corner of Stolley Park Road and Gunbarre1 Road <br />spoke in regard to request for stop sign at this location, have three blind <br />corners at this location and have requested stop sign twice before with no <br />action being taken. Requesting stop sign on the north and south road. <br />Board members will take under consideration. <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janu1ewicz was present. He spoke in regard to <br />the draft copy of the solid waste management agreement with City of Grand <br />Island. <br />Wayne Bennett, City Public Works Director addressed the board and stated <br />the reasons City of Grand Island is requesting County Board to be a part of <br />the inter1oca1 agreement. . <br />, Supervisor Hartman and Landis expressed the concerns of roads in the <br />area if .this becomes a regional landfill. <br />Janu1ewicz had revised the document and explained the changes, He gave <br />each member a copy and requested they review and to call him if they have <br />any questions and need to place Inter1oca1 Agreement on next week's agenda <br />for County ~oard action. <br /> <br />Janu1ewicz spoke in regard to the written plan on personal property and <br />airline refunds for 1989 and 1990 that needs to be filed with County <br />Treasurer to inform the County Treasurer and the public as to how county <br />plans to make repaYment. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to authorize Janu1ewicz to submit <br />written plan to pay the refunds thru the inheritance fund. On roll call vote <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Janu1ewicz presented Resolution he had prepared in regard to assigning the <br />name of Camp Augustine Road. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to adopt Resolution #1404 as <br />presented. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, <br />Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #/#O~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hall, Nebraska, has adopted a resolution and <br />comprehensive plan to assign names to public roads lying outside the incorporated <br />areas of the County of Hall, Nebraska; and <br />WHEREAS, the said resolution and plan inadvertently omitted a certain road <br />dedicated to the public in the platting of Roeser's Subdivision, located in the South <br />One-Half of the North One-Half (Sl/2 N1/2) and also that portion of the South One- <br />Half (Sl/2) lying North of the Channel of the Plat River in Section Sixteen (16), <br />Township Ten (10), Range Nine (9), West of the 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska; <br />said road as described, surveyed, and set forth in the plat, a copy of which is <br />attached hereto marked exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference; and . <br />WHEREAS, the County Board of Hall County, Nebraska, is desirous of <br />assigning the name of Camp Augustine Road to said road and that the same be known <br />by said assigned and designated name. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Board of Supervisors of <br />
