Stephen Potter. He gave qpdate information and <br />will update Board members further when receive more in!ormation. <br /> <br />Attorney Janulewicz reported on Jerry & Ina Osterday vs County Clerk in <br />regard to vehicle title. Osterday had accepted the settlement offer of <br />$1000.00 and Deputy Attorney recommends issuing warrant for $1000.00 and <br />he will deliver warrant to Osterday and obtain release form. <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Leslie to authorize payment of warrant <br />to Jerry & Ina Osterday for $1000.00 and deliver warrant to Janulewicz for <br />disposition. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, <br />Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Becki Koehler, Mid Nebraska Individual Services was present. She introduced <br />Sue Fredericksen and MamieLeach who were present. Sue Fredericksen had <br />been recommended as Advisory Board member. Fredericksen spoke and expla&ned <br />her background in Retardation Services. <br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Quandt to appoint Sue Fredericksen as <br />member to Hall County Advisory Board of Individual Services. On roll call <br />vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes <br />none voted no. Motion ,carried. <br /> <br />During discussion other names were recommended to serve on the Advisory Board <br />Hartman and Koehler will contact them to see if they would be willing to serve <br />on the Board and have them come to Board Meeting to be considered for appoint- <br />ment. <br /> <br />John Wagoner, Attorney was present. He spoke to the Board Members in regard <br />to County's possible agreement with City of Grand Island for Landfill services. <br />He stated his Garbage bill is $13.33'per month and that is getting too high. <br />He requested board to consider carefully when looking at the agreement. <br /> <br />Commenced audit of monthly claims. <br /> <br />Recessed for lunch at 11:30 A.M. Return to regular sess'o t 1 30 P M 'th <br />~ n a : .. w~ <br />all Board members present. <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to approve payment of claims as audited <br />but hold warrants for Architect fees and Construction firm for final claim on <br />Weed and Building & Grounds Buildings until final OK from Committee. On roll <br />call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted <br />yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Request for Stop Signs at intersection of Loup River Road and North Road to <br />be installed. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to authorize Public Works Director <br />to erect stop signs at the intersection of Loup River Road and North Road. On <br />roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis <br />voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Bill Yost spoke in behalf of Korean Veterans and expressed appreciation for <br />allowing the erection of monument on lawn at Administration Building. They <br />will hold a dedication ceremony on June 27, 1992 at 4:00 P.M. <br />
