• GIS director job description has been changed and is now GIS Director was on Range <br /> 12 now on Range 17 <br /> • GIS assistant director job description has been changed and is now GIS analyst was on <br /> Range 11 now on Range 15 <br /> • Attorney's secretaries are important function to this office and were not classified <br /> correctly so they were moved from Range 5 to Range 6 <br /> • Drug court coordinator was placed on Range 17 % increases will addressed over two <br /> years <br /> • County sheriff's paper server was classified with the sheriff support staff 1 that was <br /> Range 2 and now will be on Range 5 with increases over the 3 years <br /> Arnold noted that there were no comparable counties for the bailiffs and they are more and <br /> administrative assist and the GIS descriptions changes put them more in line of what their <br /> current salaries reflect. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve the changes made on the job <br /> descriptions by the classification committee for the Bailiffs, GIS positions, attorney's secretaries, <br /> drug court coordinator and paper server. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 9 CONSIDERATION AND ACTION TO APPROVE AN AGREEMENT FOR LEGAL SERVICES <br /> REGARDING THE CASE OF HARRINGTON V. HALL COUNTY, ET AL. <br /> This is the lawsuit that was filed regarding comments made and we do not carry insurance for <br /> punitive damages and the various other violations. This is a proposed agreement to retain <br /> Vince Valentino to represent the county on the matters that are not covered and they will bill the <br /> county for the services as per the agreement at $170.00 an hour for the attorney and $85.00 for <br /> the arale al and $45.00 an hour for the administrative assistant along with expenses and <br /> P g <br /> mileage. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the letter of agreement. Arnold, <br /> Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 10 CONSIDERATION AND ACTION TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION TO DELEGATE TO THE <br /> HALL COUNTY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION THE POWER TO ACT ON <br /> CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATIONS IN LIMITED CIRCUMSTANCES —County Attorney <br /> Zitterkopf stated this resolution is to allow Regional Planning to approve conditional uses <br /> permits if there may be a conflict of interest for the county supervisors. He stated that this <br /> would be the logical place to have it decided. <br /> Schuppan stated that they would be able to be more objective. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve Resolution#15-025 to Authorize <br /> Regional Planning to Act on Applications for Conditional Use Permits. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> The board could determine if there was a conflict. <br /> 10 <br />
