OFFICE REPORT <br /> HALL COUNTY SHERIFF <br /> OCTOBER, NOVEMBER & DECEMBER 2014 <br /> HANDGUN APPLICATIONS $ 130.00 <br /> TITLE INSPECTIONS $ 10,290.00 <br /> COPIES $ 335.00 <br /> 9:05 A.M. Held a Board of Equalization meeting. <br /> 9:29 a.m. returned to the regular meeting. <br /> 4. COUNTY ATTORNEY - APPROVE AGREEMENTS AND AUTHORIZE BOARD CHAIR TO <br /> SIGN AGREEMENT WITH LANGUAGE LINE SERVICES, INC. TO PROVIDE OVER THE <br /> PHONE INTERPRETATION SERVICES UNDER STATE OF NEBRASKA ENTERPRISE <br /> CONTRACT#535010-- County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf stated that the county board approved <br /> the Limited English Plan and this is related to that issue. As a governmental subdivision the <br /> county can participate in the state language line services. We do not intend to use this all the <br /> time but use it as a last resort. He is requesting that the board sign the agreement. <br /> Arnold stated that Emergency Management uses the this and it may cost them $150 to$ 200 a <br /> month Hall County will not be near that number. It is an affordable option. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Richardson seconded to authorize the chair to sign the agreement <br /> #535010 for the language line. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 9:30 A.M. Held a Board of Corrections meeting. <br /> 9:36 a.m. The Board returned to the regular meeting. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION --Greg Cramer, Mayor of Wood River stated he would like to have a <br /> county building inspector. He represents the small communities and they need some type of <br /> service. He suggested an Interlocal agreement and the cost could be shared. In the past there <br /> were trailer court inspections and old buildings could be condemned this was a service to the <br /> smaller communities. <br /> Mr. Schuppan stated that they are aware of the issues and there will be a meeting in the future <br /> to address the issue. <br /> Chairman Arnold called for any other public participation and Ms. Richardson stated that she <br /> has also received concerns from her constituents regarding the need for a building inspector. <br /> 8 .DISCUSS & APPROVE THE SELECTION OF THE PUBLIC BID SUBMITTED BY ENSLEY <br /> ELECTRICAL SERVICES FOR THE FIBER INSTALL BETWEEN THE HALL COUNTY <br /> ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AT 121 SOUTH PINE AND THE PLAZA SQUARE BUILDING <br /> AT 207 NORTH PINE —Mr. Purdy stated he put this on the agenda they reviewed the bids and <br /> recommended to accept the bid from Ensley Electric for $41,078.00. <br /> 3 <br />
