Mr. Arnold stated that to address Gary's concern on an architect there is not a lot of design work it is mostly engineering. The county has an engineer and a general contractor to make sure that the job is done. Mr. Humphrey is the contact person there are people in place. County Clerk Conley stated that a bid from Computer Cable Connection Inc. was received January 27, 2015 at 8:50 a.m. The bids were to be received by Monday January 26, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. according to the legal add. Lanfear made a motion and Schuppan seconded to reject the bid from Computer Cable Connection because it was not received as required. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. Discussion was held on the requirement of a bid bond and it was not stated in the legal add and Stacey contacted Mr. Drudik and he sated he did not require a bid bond. Brad Mellema with Convention Visitor's Bureau worked on the application and the guide lines. He used the state law and some examples from other counties Lancaster made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve the guide lines for the lodging tax grant funds.
