DISCUSS &APPROVE RECEIVING BIDS FOR INSTALLATION OF FIBER OPTIC CABLING FOR COMPUTER NETWORKING FROM THE HALL COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AT 121 SOUTH PINE TO PLAZA SQUARE BUILDING AT 207 NORTH PINE. SET BID OPENING FOR JANUARY 27, 2015 AT 9:30 A.M. BIDS TO BE RECEIVED BY JANUARY 26, 2015 AT 5:00 P.M. —The bid specs have been prepared and Mr. Drudik has done all of the work so the board just needs to set the bid opening. Purdy made a motion and Lancaster seconded to set the bid opening for January 27, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. with bids due January 26, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. LETTER FROM SCEDD REGARDING COMMITMENT TO MEMBERSHIP AND REPRESENTATIVE DESIGNATION FOR SOUTH CENTRAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS - Lancaster stated that she would like to postpone this for 2 weeks. Randy Gard had talked to the county board about paying the membership fee and sit on the SCEDD board but since he has resigned she would like the opportunity to talk to them. They may want to wait until there is a new director. Mr. Lanfear also stated that there may be some other things changing so it would be best to wait for 2 weeks. 26 DISCUSS & AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN AGREEMENT BETWEEN HALL COUNTY & NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF ROADS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A PASSENGER VAN OR SMALL BUS — Lancaster stated that she sits on the Senior Citizens board and there are match dollars budgeted for 2 small buses. Lancaster made a motion and Schuppan second to approve the agreements and authorize the Chair to sign. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS—Chairman Arnold called for committee or board member reports. Purdy stated that he attended a Health Department meeting and they reviewed the annual audit and it was a good audit. He stated that his term on the health board is expiring and the Chair is responsible for appointing the committees. Mr. Arnold asked that the board member get the information to him and he will be working on the committee assignments next Wednesday. Stacey stated that she will provide a copy of the committees to the board members and they can indicate what committees they would like to serve on. Chairman Arnold called for other reports and no one responded.
