Box 367 <br />Grand Island, NE 68802 <br />(308) 381-5150 <br /> <br />Attorney Janulewicz spoke in regard to the Cantin vs Hall County Board of <br />Equalization court case for 1990 whiqh had been settled, He recommended the <br />Board not enter into request for subsequent years. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to accept Deputy County Attorney <br />recommendation to not grant subsequent years ,in Cantin vs Board of Equaiiza- <br />tion. On roll' call vote Aber~ethy, Frauen Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright <br />and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Deputy Attorney Janulewicz presented resolution in regard to parking signs at <br />the area at Pubilc Safety Center and the new area behind courthouse. The <br />resolution provides for ticketing illegal parked vehicles and authorize the <br />towing of vehicles away. <br />Motion'by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to adopt Resolution #1393 on the <br />restricted parking. Following discussion and requested changes to be made <br />the motion and seconded was withdrew,and resolution to be placed on next <br />week's agenda after corrections are made. <br />Janulewicz also stated the board may want to look at making a similar <br />resolution for all county parking areas. <br /> <br />Attorney Janulewicz spoke in regard to the easement in NE quarter 5-10-11 <br />to negotiate with Nebraska Game & Parks Commission to purchase the easement <br />right of way at $250.00 per easement for use as public road. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Quandt to approve the purchase of easement <br />
