would have to be a dedicated line for the courthouse and a dedicated line for the fire <br /> suppression system. <br /> Chairman McFarland stated that the board needs to give them some direction. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Arnold seconded to move forward on the Courthouse <br /> HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and ADA restroom remodel. <br /> Discussion was held on the restroom remodel and this could be an addendum to the <br /> proposal once they have talked to Craig Lewis regarding the requirements for the ADA <br /> restrooms. Quandt questioned if the restroom doors meet ADA and they do. This will <br /> be part of the general construction work and there are dollars in the estimate. <br /> The vote on the motion was taken. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Schuppan, and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 24-7 EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING PROPERTY ACQUISITION — Lancaster <br /> made a motion and Ziola seconded to go into executive session regarding property <br /> acquisition. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan, and Ziola all voted yes <br /> and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 10:49 a.m. executive session <br /> 11:21 a.m. Quandt made a motion and Arnold seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> Chairman McFarland stated that no other subjects were discussed, no action was taken <br /> and no votes were taken. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan, and <br /> Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 6 BID OPENING FOR DEMOLITION OF 2ND FLOOR COURTHOUSE ANNEX— Mr. <br /> Humphrey stated he reviewed the bids and talked to Jazhan Amill with New Horizons <br /> regarding his bid and it included transportation costs. He stated that he reviewed the <br /> bids and recommended to accept the low bid from O'Neill Transportation. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Schuppan second to accept the bid from O'Neill <br /> Transportation for $84,000.00. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan, <br /> and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 23. EXECUTIVE SESSION -- UNION NEGOTIATIONS Lancaster made a motion and <br /> Arnold seconded to g into executive session regarding union negotiations. There are <br /> two reasons for an executive session and this executive session is to protect the public <br /> interest. Hall County Sheriff Jerry Watson was included in the executive session. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan, and Ziola all voted yes and none <br /> voted no.
