RESOLUTION# l — 631 <br /> ESTABLISHING STOP CONTROL <br /> FOR WESTBOUND TRAFFIC ON ELM ISLAND ROAD <br /> APPROACHING THE INTERSECTION <br /> WITH THE US HIGHWAY 34/281 FRONTAGE ROAD <br /> WHEREAS, the intersection of Elm Island Road and the US Highway 34/281 Frontage <br /> Road is a 3-way intersection "tee" with Elm Island Road forming the leg of the 3-way "tee" <br /> intersection; and <br /> WHEREAS,the current intersection control is uncontrolled; and <br /> WHEREAS, a Traffic Engineering Study for Intersection Control was conducted by the <br /> Hall County Engineer and, as a result of said study, it is recommended that westbound vehicular <br /> traffic on Elm Island Road be required to stop when approaching the intersection with the US <br /> Highway 34/281 Frontage Road;and <br /> WHEREAS,the Board of Supervisors of Hall County,Nebraska,deem it necessary in the <br /> interest of traffic safety to erect said stop sign. <br /> THEREFORE, it is hereby determined and ordered that westbound vehicular traffic on <br /> Elm Island Road be required to stop when approaching the intersection with the US Highway <br /> 34/281 Frontage Road, and that in accordance herewith, personnel of the Public Works <br /> Department of Hall County, Nebraska, are directed to post appropriate stop signs to this effect <br /> forthwith and notify appropriate law enforcement personnel. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 12t DAY OF AUGUST,2014. <br />
