16. APPROVE BI WEEKLY PAY CLAIMS AND REGULAR CLAIMS— Schuppan made a <br /> motion and Ziola seconded to approve the bi weekly pay claims and regular claims except for <br /> Office Net. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes <br /> and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the claim from Office Net. Arnold, <br /> Lancaster, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. McFarland <br /> abstained because he has a business relationship with Office Net. Motion carried. <br /> 20 COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS — Lancaster stated that there was CVB <br /> meeting yesterday and they will be here to present their budget. She also stated that facilities <br /> met with Sue Gugel and the probation office is requesting space for a juvenile probation <br /> program. They are also requesting about 4000 sq feet for a day reporting center there are no <br /> dollars for the renovations but they do allow $50,000.00 for equipment and furniture. There will <br /> be a start date for the reporting center. They are also doing the renovations for courtroom <br /> #3.they do not know when this has to be done. The committee is identifying possible areas that <br /> will require the least amount of renovations. <br /> Mr. Schuppan questioned if some of the costs of the reporting center could fall on other <br /> counties. They should be responsible for their share. Mr. Purdy stated that he talked with Ms <br /> Gugel about this and she thought it was a good idea. <br /> Mr. Ziola questioned what the county would have to provide and r. Zitterkopf stated that he had <br /> contacted Lancaster County and there is basically no help. <br /> Mr. McFarland stated there will be another public meeting regarding the court house project. <br /> 21 BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT - She reminded the Board member's of their other <br /> scheduled meetings. She will be on vacation and will not have access to by e mail or the <br /> phone. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS —Chairman McFarland called for new or unfinished <br /> business and no one responded. <br /> 12:19 p.m. Meeting adjourned.
