25 COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS - Mr. Schuppan stated that the weed <br /> board received a resignation letter from Damon Obermiller a weed board member. Discussion <br /> was held regarding the appointment of a new board member. We will have to accept the <br /> resignation and place it on file at the next meeting. <br /> Mr. Humphrey updated the county board on courtroom #3 they have started some of the demo <br /> work and are working on the lights and working around the schedule for the self help center. <br /> The judge's bench, witness stand and court reporters stands have been ordered. The schedule <br /> is set up and they are ready to do the work. <br /> Ms. Lancaster stated that the facilities committee discussed the upgrades to courtroom #3. <br /> There needs to be signs placed and they are addressing the chairs for the room. Discussion <br /> was held to place new chairs in the county board room and use the chairs from the board room <br /> in the court room. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, <br /> Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 10. 11:00 P.M. SANDI STEVENS MIDLAND AREA AGENCY ON AGING BUDGET <br /> Sandi Stevens, Executive Director with Midland Area Agency on Aging and Theresa Engelhardt <br /> with Senior Citizens were present. <br /> The membership fee for Hall County is $1.00 for each person over the age of 60 in Hall County. <br /> This number is based on the 2010 census. That dollar amount is $10,880.00. They are also <br /> requesting $19,125.00 that will directly support Senior Citizens Industries services programs. <br /> The total request is $30,005.00. <br /> Ms. Lancaster stated that there are 8 counties that are involved and the size of the counties is <br /> never an issue because the funds are based on population. She also thanked Theresa for <br /> keeping the county board informed. <br /> Mr. Quandt asked if the issues on the building have been addressed and Ms. Engelhardt stated <br /> that the roof and the parking lot have been repaired. She stated that they want to redo the <br /> lease agreement with the city and they have been working on that. <br /> Ms. Lancaster noted that because of changes in administration Senior Citizens was lost in the <br /> mix and the major repairs were a huge issue.
