suggested that Dan Smith could come out and give the county board some general options. <br /> She stated that she would like to do it without a bond issue and Mr. Schuppan agreed. Mr. <br /> Schuppan questioned if the committee has narrowed it down to 2 plans and Mr. Ziola stated <br /> they have not done so. He stated there should be some parameters on how much the county is <br /> going to spend. <br /> Mr. McFarland stated that he talked to Judge Wetzel and he asked him to discuss with the other <br /> judges who could be located in the addition. We need to narrow down the options and move <br /> forward. <br /> Mr. Schuppan expressed concern about taking too much out of the inheritance fund and asked <br /> what a bond issue would cover. He stated that it may be a good idea to set up a citizen <br /> committee. <br /> Mr. Ziola stated he would like to see the cost and then address where the dollars would come <br /> from. <br /> Lancaster suggested that the board could ask Mr. Kissler and Mr. Smith to meet with the board <br /> so we would know what our options are. Mr. McFarland stated he will put Mr. Kissler on the <br /> agenda in 2 weeks and Mr. Smith in 4 weeks. <br /> Mr. Ziola questioned if there were any plans to meet with the judges regarding placement of the <br /> office. Mr. Quandt stated that the judges need to be involved. <br /> Mr. Purdy questioned if Mr. Kissler has a time frame and Mr. McFarland stated they are waiting <br /> for the board to make a decision on two options. <br /> 14 APPROVE BI WEEKLY PAY CLAIMS AND REGULAR CLAIMS—The board members <br /> received the board preapproval list. <br /> Ziola made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the bi weekly pay claims and the regular <br /> claims except the claim from Office Net. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Ziola made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the claim from Office Net. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> McFarland abstained because he has a business relationship with Office Net. Motion carried. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS—Mr. Quandt stated that the RCD has filed <br /> to dissolve the corporation and the small amount of money will be returned. <br /> Mr. Ziola reported that he and Mr. Quandt made the trip to Lincoln for the hearing on the <br /> veteran's home. <br /> Mr. Arnold stated that the public works department uses waste oil to burn for heat. People can <br /> bring it in and it is re-used so this is saving taxpayer's money. <br /> Mr. McFarland stated that the facilities committee met and discussed the probation office need <br /> for short term space. The building & grounds department is painting, carpeting and putting up <br /> some temporary walls. <br /> 5 <br />
