HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING FEBRUARY 11, 2014 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened February 11, 2014 by published call in the <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bob McFarland. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Scott Arnold. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE—The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were, Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, Bob McFarland, Dan <br /> Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Also present was Deputy County <br /> Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chairman Bob McFarland read the notice of open <br /> meeting law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME—Chairman McFarland stated that if anyone from the audience <br /> Q y <br /> has a request to reserve t ime to speak on a specific agenda item, to please come forward at this <br /> time. No one responded. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Lancaster made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the following <br /> by consent agenda: <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the January 28th meeting <br /> 2. 6 Placed on file the public works quarterly report <br /> 3. 11 Approved resolution 14-002 supporting LB 935 which requires legislative approval to <br /> move state services between jurisdictions Mr. Shuda will read the resolution and <br /> Lancaster noted the hearing is in Lincoln on Thursday at 1:30 it is important to show <br /> support <br /> 4. 12 Received the request from the City of Grand Island to review the county industrial <br /> tracts this was referred to the zoning committee for review <br /> 5. 14 approved the bi weekly pay claims <br /> 6. 15 Placed on file the county office reports from the Register of Deeds, County Attorney, <br /> County Clerk, County Sheriff for December 2013 and the quarterly report for October, <br /> November& December <br /> 7. 16 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts <br /> 8. Placed on file communications <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and no one <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 1 <br />
