' <br /> <br />9,;<,r- /~/ <br /> <br />y <br /> <br />Quandt reported'there is a Midland Agency on Aging meeting Thursday and Bill <br />Wright plans to attend. <br /> <br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant reported on Mid Plains Center claim for <br />jail inmates. Board members determined to hold claim until County Clerk can <br />check out when we started receiving these bills. <br /> <br />Merrill reported the joint purchasing list is going out this week, will request <br />they be returned by May 18th for County Officials meeting to determine budget <br />needs. <br /> <br />Letter from Public Works Director was read in regard to County Board request <br />to examine the feasiblity of vacating the part of Nine Bridge Road. He recom- <br />mends the County Board close this portion of road and proceed with legal pro- <br />ce~ure to vacate the road. <br /> <br />Resolution was presented and read to set the public hearing to consider closing <br />the road. <br />, Motion by Quandt, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1373 as presented. <br />On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis <br />voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 13/8 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County Board has received a report as <br />provided in Section 39-1722 concerning the study made and <br />the recommendation of the County Highway Superintendent as <br />to the vacation or abandonment of a certain' road. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Hall County Board of Supervisors <br />acting in accordance with Section 39-1724 finds that a <br />public hearing shall be held on the 19 day of May, 1992 at <br />1:30 p.m. in the County Board room to consider the vacation <br />or abandonment of a certain public road. <br />The County road to be considered for vacation or <br />abandonment is described as follows: <br /> <br />Plat of a tract of land comprising a part of Nine <br />Bridge Road situated in the Northwest Quarter of the <br />Southwest Quarter (NW 1/4 SW 1/4) of Section Twenty (20), <br />Township Ten (10) North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M. <br />in Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly described as <br />follows: <br />Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot One <br />(1), Krug Subdivision; thence northwesterly along <br />the northeasterly line of said Lot One (1), also <br />being the southwesterly right-of-way line of Nine <br />Bridge Road, a distance of Two Hundred Seventy <br />Five and Sixty Five Hundredths (275.65) feet; <br />thence deflecting right 900 00' and running <br />. northeasterly, a distance of Forty Five (45.0) <br />feet to the northeasterly right-of-way line 8f <br />Nine Bridge Road; thence deflecting right 90 00' <br />and running southeasterly along the northeasterly <br />right-of-way line of Nine Bridge Road, a distance <br />of Three Hundred Twenty Three and Thirty Two <br />Hundredths (323.32) feet to the northerly <br />right-of-way line of Highway I-80; thence <br />deflecting right 13~ 39' and running <br />northwesterly along said I-80 right-of-way line, a <br />distance of Sixty Five and Fifty Five Hundredths <br />(65.55) feet to the place of beginning and <br />containing 0.309 acres more or less. <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors further directs <br />the Hall County Clerk to publish this Resolution once a week <br />for three consecutive weeks in a legal newspaper of Hall <br />County and cause copies of this Resolution to be served by <br />registered or certified mail upon the owners of all land <br />abutting on or ,adjacent to the road to be vacated or <br /> <br />abandoned. ~ ~ /7 j,..A 1'# <br />DATED this.& day of Vr~ ,1992. <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS <br /> <br />BY, fJ~Jt~:v <br />
