.~ Leslie reported they have made a request to City of Grand Island in regard to moving the power pole so can widen the northeast driveway of Administration ~Building parking lot, near the new Building & Grounds building. ' 9,;<,r- /~/ y Quandt reported'there is a Midland Agency on Aging meeting Thursday and Bill Wright plans to attend. Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant reported on Mid Plains Center claim for jail inmates. Board members determined to hold claim until County Clerk can check out when we started receiving these bills. Merrill reported the joint purchasing list is going out this week, will request they be returned by May 18th for County Officials meeting to determine budget needs. Letter from Public Works Director was read in regard to County Board request to examine the feasiblity of vacating the part of Nine Bridge Road. He recom- mends the County Board close this portion of road and proceed with legal pro- ce~ure to vacate the road. Resolution was presented and read to set the public hearing to consider closing the road. , Motion by Quandt, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1373 as presented. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. RESOLUTION # 13/8 WHEREAS, the County Board has received a report as provided in Section 39-1722 concerning the study made and the recommendation of the County Highway Superintendent as to the vacation or abandonment of a certain' road. NOW, THEREFORE, the Hall County Board of Supervisors acting in accordance with Section 39-1724 finds that a public hearing shall be held on the 19 day of May, 1992 at 1:30 p.m. in the County Board room to consider the vacation or abandonment of a certain public road. The County road to be considered for vacation or abandonment is described as follows: Plat of a tract of land comprising a part of Nine Bridge Road situated in the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (NW 1/4 SW 1/4) of Section Twenty (20), Township Ten (10) North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M. in Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot One (1), Krug Subdivision; thence northwesterly along the northeasterly line of said Lot One (1), also being the southwesterly right-of-way line of Nine Bridge Road, a distance of Two Hundred Seventy Five and Sixty Five Hundredths (275.65) feet; thence deflecting right 900 00' and running . northeasterly, a distance of Forty Five (45.0) feet to the northeasterly right-of-way line 8f Nine Bridge Road; thence deflecting right 90 00' and running southeasterly along the northeasterly right-of-way line of Nine Bridge Road, a distance of Three Hundred Twenty Three and Thirty Two Hundredths (323.32) feet to the northerly right-of-way line of Highway I-80; thence deflecting right 13~ 39' and running northwesterly along said I-80 right-of-way line, a distance of Sixty Five and Fifty Five Hundredths (65.55) feet to the place of beginning and containing 0.309 acres more or less. The Hall County Board of Supervisors further directs the Hall County Clerk to publish this Resolution once a week for three consecutive weeks in a legal newspaper of Hall County and cause copies of this Resolution to be served by registered or certified mail upon the owners of all land abutting on or ,adjacent to the road to be vacated or abandoned. ~ ~ /7 j,..A 1'# DATED this.& day of Vr~ ,1992.
