Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # /,g ?/ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AND ORDER REMOVING CERTAIN TRACTS AND PORTIONS OF TRACTS <br />FROM THE DESIGNATION OF COUNTY INDUSTRIAL AREAS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ON THE .!l!!! day of ~, 199/ the City of Grand <br /> <br />Island requested that the County Board of Hall County review the <br /> <br />designation of county industrial areas with respect to certain tracts and <br /> <br />portions of tracts, to wit: <br /> <br />a. Farmers Choice 3815 West Old Potash Hwy. <br />b. Construction Rental, Inc. 3505 West Old Potash Hwy. <br />c. Nebraska Dept. of Roads 3305 Old Potash Hwy. <br />d. Monte's Electronic Super Stores 410 South Webb Road <br />e. Lacy Bldg. & Supply Property 524A South Webb Road <br />f. U.S. Hwy. 281 & U.S. Hwy. 30 right-of-way at interchange <br />g. City's retention cell known as "the pit" and former railroad <br />right-of-way northward to Fonner Park Road <br /> <br />and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on the //)du day of 9l1aM.Ju, 1992, the County Board of <br /> <br />Hall County made its review of said tracts and determined that there was <br /> <br />cause to believe that the aforesaid tracts may no longer qualify for <br /> <br />designation as county industrial areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on the 31st day of March, 1992, a hearing was held by the <br /> <br />County Board of Hall County, following notice of said hearing to the owners <br /> <br />thereof by certified mail; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at said hearing representatives of the regional planning <br /> <br />commission, the City of Grand ,Island, Hornady Manufacturing, owner of 3815 <br /> <br />West Old Potash Highway, and Construction Rental Inc., owner of 3505 West <br /> <br />old Potash Highway, spoke with respect to the removal of the tracts from <br /> <br />the designation as county industrial areas. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA, that the Board hereby finds that the following <br /> <br />described tracts or portions of tracts are not used in compliance with the <br /> <br />definition of industry as set forth in Nebraska Revised Statutes Section <br /> <br />13-1111, to wit: the parcels as described in exhibits A through G, <br /> <br />inclusive, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> <br />reference. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the aforesaid tracts and <br /> <br />parcels of tracts be removed from the designation of county industrial <br /> <br />areas as of the date hereof. The Board further directs that certified <br /> <br />copies of this Resolution and Order be file~ with the Hall County Register <br /> <br />of Deeds and County Assessor. <br />Adopted this LfPkday of April, 1992. <br />
