Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Elly Carrico, Clerk of District Court reported on her investigations into <br />costs for lectriver from out of town dealers. She reported the following <br />costs, firm in ,Lincoln, NE $22,119.00; firm in Denver Colorado $19,037.00 <br />and firm in Kansas $19,100.00 compared to Eakes, Grand Island quotation of <br />$18,360.00 with local service. <br />Motion by Wright, seconded by Quandt to authorize Clerk of District Court <br />to purchase letriver for her office and pay for equipment from the Data Pro- <br />cessing in miscellaneous general budget. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, <br />Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Referred to building and grounds committee to look into the location of where <br />the lectriver is to be placed. <br /> <br />Bill Yost and Kenny Brandt, representating the Nebraska Korean Veteran's <br />Association were present. Mr Yost spoke and requested permission to place <br />a Korean Veteran's monument on the courthouse grounds someplace. They have <br />$2000.00 'and a local monument company is doing the designing. <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Frauen to refer the request to Building and <br />Grounds Committee for research and recommendation.
