Cost of additional <br />tests were estimated at $2320.00 plus laboratory fees. Discussion followed. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to approve the continuing of the <br />air sampling testing recommended. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, <br />Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Sheriff Arnett was present and spoke to the board members in regard to the <br />parking at the Safety Center. He gave each a copy of resolution dated 1985 <br />that needed to be looked at and updated. <br />Discussion on the parking area planned for area between the Courthouse <br />and Social.Service building. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Quandt to authorize Dan Hostler, Public <br />Works Director to go forth with project with as many parking stalls as <br />possible to be located between Courthouse and Social Services building. On <br />roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted <br />yes, Leslie voted no. Motion carried on 6 yes and 1 no vote. <br /> <br />Sheriff stressed the need for an updated resolution to enforce the one hour <br />parking sign that have been placed. <br /> <br />Arnett reported at the Criminal Justice Committee he had discussed with them <br />about purchase of additional 4 patrol cars, Would'like to purchase 2 from the <br />1991-1992 budget from the State bid which list Ford Taurus $11,229.00 and <br />full size cars at $12,112.00 <br />Discussion on purchase and where funding would come from. Committee had <br />recommended 2 cars cost estimate of $25,000.00 be paid from the jail remodel- <br />ing line item in miscellaneous general budget. Sheriff Arnett suggested <br />buying two cars now and budget for 2 more cars in 1992-1993 budget. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Wright to authorize purchase of 4 patrol <br />cars, contingent on finding budget funds available. On roll call vote Abernethy <br />Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Sheriff Arnett requested authorization to offer hepatitus B vaccinations for <br />Jail and Sheriff employees. ,Has 50 employees and this is a set of 3 shots, good <br />for 7 years @ $80.00 per person. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to authorize hepatitus B vaccinations <br />1r,'"W' ,if..;;" 1 and Sheriff employees and to include Building and Grounds department <br />
