On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Chairperson Landis reported on meeting with City of Grand Island Mayor in regard to joint budgets for Regional Planning, Head Department and Communication Civil Defense and also need to meet on the Ambulance agreement. Chairperson appointed Hartman, Landis and Deputy Attorney Janulewicz to meet with the Mayor. Discussion on copy of Resolution received from Howard Maxon, Communication-Civil Defense Director in regard to ~h~ State ~nd Federal Governments mandated pro- grams, but provide no funding .'-___ ~ .. ~ Motion by Quandt, .seconded-1:>ylICiE-t!IlGl.l'l'to refer to County Attorney's office for review and recommenaation-Defor~e- any action is taken. Letter was read from State of Nebraska Department of Roads in reply to letter of concern from Hall County Board in regard to US-28l from Grand Island to St Paul, Nebraska. Letter was read from State of Nebraska Department of Social Services in regard to Community Service Program for employable General Assistance recipients. Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant reported a grievance had been filed yes- terday by CWA Local 7401 protesting the County Board refusal to meet with them to discuss a~eco~hlze~ work issue. County Board has 14 days to reply. Chairman Landis appointed Hartman, and Quandt to meet with her and Attorney on Wednesday, April 15, 1992 at 11:00 A.M. in reply to the grievance.
