He recommends an outside law firm to handle the <br />foreclosures'&nastart with the three oldest cases to try and see what works <br />out. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to authorize Janulewicz to contact <br />law firms and return with recommendation or resolution to start with the three <br />oldest cases. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Leslie, Quandt, Wright, <br />and Landis voted yes, none voted no, with Hartman absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />~ <br />-=1 <br /> <br /> <br />Letter was presented from Robyn Shafer in regard to her fall down stairs at <br />the administration building on December 13, 1991. She requested county pay <br />the balance of bill of $151.70 left unpaid by her insurance company. <br />Deputy Attorney had recommended the letter be treated as a tort claim. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to receive letter and refer to County <br />Attorney's office for further recommendation. On roll call vote Abernethy, <br />. Frauen, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no, with <br />Hartman absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Elly Carrico, Clerk of District Court made a request for purchase of a Kardex <br />80 Lektriever System for her office at estimated cost of $18,360.00 She als6 <br />reported that if legislative bill passe.s that they be required to accept fax <br />copies in her office she will need a plain paper fax mabhine in her office. <br />Board members accepted her requests and will study to see if funds are <br />available to make purchases. <br /> <br />10:00 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING to consider request from City of Grand Island for <br />the removal of properties from the County Industrial areas. <br />Affidavit of publication was read as published in Grand Island Daily <br />Independent on March 13, March 20 and March 27 1992. <br />Nelson Helm, Regional Planning Director showed map of the areas in <br />question and explained the locations. Keith Sinor, City Attorney was also <br />present. <br />Those present and speaking were Marval Hornady, Hornady Manufacturing <br />owner of 3815 W Old Potash Highway former Farmers Choice location. She stated <br />is ~sed as a warehous~ for .Horna~y ~anufacturing at the present timer al1U a <br />Representative from Construction ~ental Inc, 3505 W Old Potash Highway also <br />spoke. <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to consider the proposed sites as:. <br />marked and listed and to remove all from the County Industrial tract. On roll <br />call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none <br />voted no, with Hartman absent.
