<br />COMMITTEE REPORT:

<br />Hartman attended meeting for Mid Nebraska Services last Thursday evening,
<br />but stated he would not report in open session.
<br />
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Abernethy to recess for Executive Session for
<br />update report on the Mid Nebraska Services. On roll call vote Abernethy,
<br />Frauen, Hartman, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no, Leslie
<br />abstained. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Executive Session at 11:06 A.M. and returned to regular session at 11:21 A.M.
<br />on motion by Quandt, seconded by Frauen. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted nOj Leslie abstained.

<br />COMMITEE REPORTS:

<br />Abernethy reported on Region III Governing Board meeting, (2) Prevention
<br />alcohol & drug problems and new task force being established by Central
<br />Nebraska Council on Alcholism, (3) Head Start workshop she attended.
<br />
<br />Quandt reported Communication & Civil Defense Committee meeting tonight and
<br />Senior Citizens meeting tomorrow night.
<br />
<br />Wright reported on Weed Control Authority Board meeting he attended last night.
<br />
<br />Landis reported on Family Violence Coalition. Also on water meeting at CAAP
<br />she attended last week.
<br />
<br />Ellen Merrill, Board Assistant spoke in regard to letters she had prepared
<br />for signatures in regard to LBl192 and LB943; The estimated cost for the
<br />survey of county owned buildings to meet ADA regulations. She will be
<br />attending NACO wor~shop on ADA next week in Kearney.
<br />
<br />Discussion on claims received on car repairs, and fill at the Weed Control
<br />building as to where these claims are to be paid from so they can be
<br />submitted for next week's claim day.
<br />
<br />Landis reported she had received update information on Midland Area Agency
<br />on Agency Board and Hall County is entitled to 3 members and an alternate.
<br />She listed Quandt and Landis as members, willaskBill Schuppan to be a
<br />members instead of an alternate and asked Bill Wright to serve as alternate.
<br />
<br />Resolution prepared by Attorney's office was presented in regard to the
<br />property tax refunds for 1990.
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1347 as
<br />presented. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt,
<br />Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
