County of Hall, <br />Nebraska, need not process complaints from applicants for employment or <br />from applicants for admission to post-secondary educational institutions. <br /> <br />4. A written determination as to the validity of the complaint and a <br />description of the resolution, if any, shall be issued by Ellen Merrill and <br />a copy forwarded to the complainant no later than seven (7) days after its <br />filing. <br /> <br />5. . The ADA coordinator shall maintain the files and records of the <br />County.of.Hall, Nebraska, relating to the complaints filed. <br /> <br />6. The complainant can request a reconsideration of the case in <br />instances where he or she is dissatisfied with the resolution. The request <br />for reconsideration should be made within seven P) days to the Hall County <br />Clerk for reconsideration by M the County Board of Supervisors. <br /> <br />7. The right of a person to a prompt and equitable resolution of the <br />complaint filed hereunder shall not be impaired by the person's pursuit of <br />other remedies such as the filing of an ADA complaint with the responsible <br />federal . department or aqency. Use of this grievance procedure is not a <br />prerequisite to the pursuit of o~er remedies. <br /> <br />8. Board will need to set a <br />date and time to receive bids later today. <br /> <br />Commenced audit of monthly claims. <br /> <br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Quandt to approve Chairman Landis to use the <br />County Board claim stamp to approve claims today, using past chairman's signa- <br />ture until ne,,:, signature st<;1mp arrives. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen., <br />Hartl!lan, Lesl~e, Quandt, Wr~ght and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion <br />carr~ed. <br /> <br />Discussion on severa) claims. Jan Pelland, County Assessor was called to <br />the meeting on two claims she had submitted. Careertrack Seminars $98.00 <br />and employee salary claim. <br />Also discussed was claim from Mid Nebraska Retardation Services and <br />also James Castleberry. Castleberry claim had been referred to County <br />Attorney's office for opinion and will wait until receive letter-from County <br />Attorney. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to pay full half year payment <br />as submitted $20,793.00 to Mid Nebraska Mental Retardation. On roll call <br />vote Abernethy voted yes, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis <br />voted no. Motion failed to carry. <br />
