'11. q3;::-~3~O COMMITTEE REPORTS: Landis reported on meeting she attended with Senators Abernethy - Attended Open House for Jayne Decker, Home Extension Agent, who is retiring. Attended Head Start meeting, Telephone conference on violence and gave each board member a copy of EPC allocations for the regions. Hartman reported'on Mid Nebraksa meeting attended last Tuesday, will have meeting again Wednesday (tomorrow) night in Kearney. He reported on Public Works Committee meeting and discussed the speed sign at Cedar Hollow School. The committee recommends placing a __35 mile ~peed limit in school zone at Cedar Hollow School, and \__t~e~iwill pursue funding for blinking light at the location. Motion by Hartman, seconded by Landis to authorize placing speed reduction sign at Cedar Hollow School. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Audit Committee to meet Thursday Dec 9 at 9:30 a.m. and again Monday, Dec 13th at 10:00 a.m. Landis brought for discussion the Weed Superintendent annual salary. No action' was taken today. Motion by Landis, seconded by Hartman to amend motion to read: "Appoint Mary Pat Kelley, of Omaha as Clerk of District Court, effective December 13, 1993 to fill the unexpired term. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, andStelk voted yes, Quandt voted no. Motion carried. continued discussion on Weed Superintendent salary.
