He attended the Stuhr Museum meeting yesterday._ <br /> <br />Stelk reported she attended Senior Citizens Industries Meeting, the Conven- <br />e tion and Visitors Bureau meeting was cancelled. She attended the Jaycees <br />meeting on the teen center. and Thursday will be Midland Area Agency on <br />Agency meeting at 10:00 a.m. and luncheon at 12:00 noon She also attended <br />the Grand Island Youth Congress meeting. <br /> <br />Letter from County Board Assistant was read in regard to auction of county <br />surplus property listing the dates available and charges, with list of <br />items that could be sold. Board members had decided to delay the auction <br />until spring. <br /> <br />Gerard Piccolo, Hall County Public Defender and Harry Moore, Madison County <br />Public Defender were present and spoke in regard to the inter local agreement <br />for conflict of interest court cases. They gave information as to hours <br />on cases for September and October for both Hall and Madison Counties. <br />The agreement is 6 month term and will end February 4, 1994 unless decide to <br />renew the agreement. Both Piccolo and Moore felt the program was working <br />well. <br /> <br />Supervisor Stelk left the meeting at 4:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Public Defender Piccolo requested hiring an additional attorney if we continue <br />the agreement with Madison County. If his case load for office continues <br />he may have to hire an attorney anyway but will hold off until January to see <br />what happens. <br /> <br />Supervisor-Frauen left meeting at 4:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Chairman Quandt adjourned the meeting at 4:42 p.m. due to lack of quorum. <br />Supervisor Hartman left meeting at 4:47 p.m. but Supervisors Abernethy, <br />Leslie and Quandt continued to visit with piccolo and Moore. <br /> <br />Next regular County Board meeting will be Tuesday, November 23, 1993 at <br />9:00 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
