<br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, OCTOBER 5, 1993

<br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 a.m. from adjourned session
<br />and by published call with Chairman Gary Quandt presiding.
<br />
<br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman,
<br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Ste1k. None were absent.
<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Abernethy.
<br />
<br />Pledge-of Allegiance was given.
<br />
<br />Minutes of September 28th meeting were accepted as received, on motion by
<br />Ste1k, seconded by Frauen. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis,_Les1ie,
<br />Quandt and Ste1k voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. .

<br />Deputy CountYl\tt9]:m~~___!1.ark Young was present. He spoke in regard to the
<br />Letter ofiagreementwitbJ Region III for EPCwith Mary Lanning Hospital.
<br />He gave three options for Board members to consider. He recommended entering
<br />'into memorandum of agreement under terms of conditions of 1991-1992 agreement
<br />pending the ine-gotlation--j of contract between Region III iGoverning-JBoard and
<br />Mary Lanning Hsopi tal for service'.- i of the EPC program. . -__ ....

<br />i,agre-ement I with Region III to receive EPC Services under terms of conditionof
<br />1991-1992 agreement. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt

<br />Letter was read from Hall County Treasurer in regard td..--:tbe telephone companies
<br />personal property tax settlements and repayments for 1989aIla7or :1990~~--------.J
<br />in amount of $104,399.67
<br />
<br />Letter from Hall County Treasurer was read
<br />personal property taxes for 1992 and prior
<br />warrants with taxes and interest amounting
<br />turned over to County Sheriff's office for
<br />
<br />submitting report on delinquent
<br />years. Have issued 392 distress
<br />to $87,536.66 which have been
<br />collection.
<br />
<br />Chairman Quandt requested an Executive Session in regard

<br />Motion by Frauen, secondesL:bY_ Landis to accept the proposal and authorize
<br />chairman to sign, subject to \aud~tcommittee meeting this afternoon. Abernethy,
<br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Ste1k voted yes, none voted no.

<br />Don Shuda, Veterans ServiceOO_~fi~~}presented proposals for purchase of
<br />copy machine for his office as requested by County Board members.
<br />Eakes Office $2786.00 and Business Wot1dProducts $2787450
<br />Discussed the amount to be allowed for trade in for old machine. Shuda to
<br />check out and report back.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie to accept the low proposal from
<br />Eakes $2786.00 and authorize Shuda to purchase machine. Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Ste1k voted yes, Hartman voted no. Motion carried.c:

<br />Renewal of Amusement License for Fonner View Golf Course was presented.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to approve the renewal of amuse-
<br />ment license for Fonner View Golf Course for one year. Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Ste1k voted yes, none voted no. Motion
<br />carried.

<br />Letter of Resignation from E110ise L~~arrico, Clerk of District Court for
<br />Hall County was read. .~
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Ste1k to accept the letter of resignation
<br />and place on file. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Ste1k voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Ste1k to accept and place on file County Office
<br />reports as presented. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt
