<br />. which is one year 100% and delivery would be in 30-40 days.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to authorize Public Works Director
<br />. to make the trade with Nebraska Machinery Co for new 1993 Caterpillar as
<br />quoted. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis and Stelk voted yes, Quandt voted
<br />no, with Leslie absent. Motion carried on 5 yes, 1 no, 1 absent.

<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to authorize Chairman to sign the
<br />contracts with Diamond Engineering and Midland Contracting for the bids taken
<br />last week for concrete box culvert projects when the contracts are ready.

<br />Public Works Director reported have received authorization from FEMA for storm
<br />damages and should have check within the next week. County Park share to be
<br />$11,000. to be used for seeding and trees at the Park. Discussed the motion
<br />to use Edgar Reynolds Foundation donation for seeding at the Park.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to rescind the motion to spend the
<br />$5000~00 Reynolds donation for res seeding and instead use for additional trees
<br />or replacement of play ground equipment. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Leslie absent. Motion carried.
