One <br />suggestion was for county to budget $40,000.00 and city would repay county <br />in August 1994 plus interest. <br /> <br />Quandt reported he attended the Senior Citizen Industries Meeting. <br /> <br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant weekly report. Have only one applicant <br />for Health Department Board member. Appointment placed on next week's agenda. <br />United Way Fund donation cards were given to each member today, need to be <br />returned by September 1, 1993. . Correction Director requested a cage partition <br />be placed in county van for use when transporting prisoners. Report on Clerk <br />of District Court conversion program for 36 system. <br /> <br />Discussion on monthly claim audit. Recommended denial of claim from County <br />Court for Grand Island Independent advertisement $132.66 and also road fund <br />claim to Nebraska Machinery for $8000.00 <br /> <br />Motion..by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to approve payment of claims as audited <br />except~th~ Grand Island Independent $132.66 and Nebraska Machinery $8000.00 <br />claims b~ denied. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and <br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Johnnie K. Walker, 'meIt\ber and( representative of Hall County Airport Authority <br />Feasibility Study Committee request to be added to County Board agenda today <br />as an emergency item to request resolution approving the organizational <br />structure for the: re-us~e J _CQI'r:@J:ttee of the Cornusker A.A. P. He presented <br />copies of 11 lette~ endorsemept-I for feasibility study of an Intermodal <br />Cargo Facility for Central_Nebraska at the ,Corri.huskerArmy Ammunition Plant. <br />No action was taken by County Board today.--- <br /> <br />Charles Kaufman, County Park Superintendent reported the park water has been <br />tested and results are okay.
