<br />to relinquish portions of road to township boards.
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Leslie to send letter, offering to relinquish
<br />roads to Prairie Creek and Mayfield townships. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie,

<br />RaouL Ruple,.- Executive Director, Hall County Housing Authority was present in
<br />regard to letter requesting resolution frOID_Hall County Board of Supervisors
<br />in support of Housing Authorityapplication~or a Public Housing Project.
<br />Ruple explained the housing project ana--inte~t of Housing Authority and
<br />answered questions from the Board Members.
<br />Board members authorized Ruple to prepare resolution for County Board's
<br />ad9ption for next week's meeting.

<br />Public Official Bond for William E Bean, Hall County Weed Control Authority
<br />Superintendent for 1 year was presented.
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Stelk to accept and place on file the official
<br />bond for William Bean for 1 year. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Frauen and Hartman absent. Motion carried.

<br />Renewal application for Amusement license for E.C.W. Corporation d/b/a The
<br />Sundowner, 3234 Schimmer Drive, Grand Island was presented for consideration.
<br />Motion by Stelk, seconded by Landis to approve amusement license for E.C.W.
<br />Corporation d/b/a The Sundowner for 1 year. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt,
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Frauen and Hartman absent. Motion carried.

<br />State of Nebraska Department of Road~ ~~pplemental ~agreemen~ No. 2 for Federal
<br />Aid Surface Transportation Program-Project. No STPE-2l50(4) Cairo Southeast

<br />Dan Hostler, Public Works Director was present and stated the project is
<br />located on north side of Ordnance Plant.
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Abernethy to approve supplemental agreement
<br />and authorize Chairman to sign. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk
<br />voted yes, none voted no, with Frauen and Hartman absent. Motion carried.

<br />1. Notice at Regional Planning Commission meeting August 4, 1993 they will be
<br />considering the final plat for Ridgeway Subdivision

<br />2. Letter of thanks from Ruby A. Washington for County Board's letter of
<br />congratulations for 1993 Nebraska and National Mother of the Year.

<br />3. Letter from Richard J. Mullen, 326 Mallard Lane, Grand Island requesting
<br />an oyerhead light be placed at intersection of Shady Bend Road and Highway
<br />34 due to serious traffic hazard at this intersection.
<br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Stelk to refer letter to State of Nebraska
<br />Engineer. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted
<br />no, with Frauen and Hartman absent. Motion carried.

<br />Deputy County Assessor Joann Tagge presented tax correction notices #187 thru
<br />#213 and also #134 which had been omitted at earlier date.
<br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Stelk to approve tax correction notices #134,
<br />and #187 thru #213 as presented. Abernethy, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Frauen and Hartman absent. Motion carried.

<br />4. Letter from Larry J. Dix Director of Data Processing at NACO in regard to
<br />subject of response time and slow printer speed encountered in Hall County
<br />VTR system.
<br />
<br />5. Notice of State Auditor scheduled budget seminars between July 29 and
<br />August 5, across the state. One will be held in Grand Island, July 30,
<br />at 1:00 p.m. in County Supervisor's meeting room
<br />
<br />6. State of Nebraska Department of Roads notice they will be receiving bids
<br />at State office, August 12, 1993 at 10:00 a.m. for proposed work on Project
<br />BRS-2255(1) located county road Northwest of Grand Island, Hall County.

<br />Stelk reported on the Midland Area Agency meeting in Hastings last week. Will
