I COMMITTEE REPORTS : I I Abernethy reported she attended audit committe, Soci~l Service Committee and Criminal Justice committee meetings, attended R~giOn III Governing Board meeting and also reported on the ASCS trip to Ogalla~a she and Stelk had made. I Leslie reported on Stuhr Museum Board meeting, Mid Jlains I I Landis reported Social Service Committee meeting and I there minutes for Board members to review. i Stelk attended Criminal Justice Committee meeting, Alcs/NRD tour to Ogallala and also reported on house Senior Citizens Industrie~ had looked at for further expansion. I Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant gave weekly rebort. She presented info on bill received for copies of FOP contract for Correction Department and where should be paid from. I Motion from Landis, seconded by Abernethy to pay from miscellaneous general budget from the law enforcement line. Abernethy, Frauen, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. I Merrill reported Sheriff's office had sent claim fori life insurance renewal but Correction Director Dalton was not covered. Is r~newed annually but paid monthly. Should Correction Director be included in poverage. Motion by Landis, seconded by Frauen to includel Correction Director Dalton in life insurance coverage for law enforcemen~. Abernethy, Frauen, Landis, Leslie and Stelk voted yes, Quandt voted nol, with Hartman absent. Motion carried. I I Merrill gave reminders of Budget Worksessions on Th~rsday and Friday this week and also next Monday. NRD meeting Wednesday ,I June 23 at 7: 00 p.m.; Midland Area on Aging meeting Thursday, June 25 at 11:30 p.m. in Hastings; Criminal Justice Meeting scheduled for July 2nd wit~ attorney Pigsley. Quandt commented there is a need to set standing cor.ittee meetings for major committees to meet as regular monthly meeting .
