<br />:~ <br /> <br />93~" / tf?~ <br />NOW, BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing on the abandonment <br />or vacation of the above-described portions of county roads shall <br />come on before the County Board of Hall County, Nebraska, on the <br />27th day of July, 1993, at 10:00 o'clock a.m. at the County Board <br />Room, County Administration Building, 121 South pine Street, Grand <br />Island, NE. At said public hearing members of the public who wish <br />to speak for or against the proposed abandonment or vacation shall <br />be permitted to address the County Board. <br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be published once <br />per week for three consecutive weeks prior to said public hearing <br />and that copies of this resolution be served by certified mail upon <br />the owners of lands abutting on or adjacent to the roads to be <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />vacated or abandoned. <br /> <br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Public Works Director <br />request the township boards of the townships within which the <br />above~described roads are located to consent to such abandonment or <br />vacation and to waive, on behalf of said townships, the <br />felinquishment or reversion of said roads to the townships. <br />Dated this ~~day of June, 1993. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF <br />BALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA, <br /> <br />By: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />rie Haubold <br />County Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />P <br /> <br />Margaret Landis - Absent <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Public Works Director Dan Hostler reported on the truck traffic on Husker High- <br />way that will seriously damage or destroy the road. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to make addition to today's agenda <br />as emergency matter the traffic on Husker Highway. Abernethy, Frauen, Hart- <br />man, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Landis absent. <br />Motion carried. . <br />Attorney Janulewicz presented resolution for the board members to consider <br />but explained this resolution will have no time limit for the restriction and <br />will be effective until another resolution is adopted to change. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1496 as pre- <br />sented. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none <br />voted no, with Landis absent. Motion carried. <br />
