BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ATTEST: Attorney Janulewicz informed the board members of the Petition by Hall County Jail employees requesting they be recognized by the Communication Workers of American, AFL-CIO. He asked if board wished to retain Attorney Pigsley,of Harding & Ogborn firm to represent them in Court of Industrial Relations. Janulewicz recommend they retain Attorney Pigsley to represent the County. Motion by Landis, seconded by Hartman to retain Pigsley to represent the County in jail employees request to be represented by CWA. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt, and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Discussion on setting the date and time for Public Hearing on the Superintendent of Schools office. Attorney Janulewicz stated must be advertised once week for 2 weeks prior to th.e hearing. Suggested dates of May 18 and May 25th with hearing June 1, 1993 and legal ad be placed in all county newspapers. Motion by Landis, seconded by Frauen to set June 1, 1993 at 10:00 a.m. for Public Hearing on Superintendent of Schools Office and copy of notice be sent to each school involved.
