Attorney Janulewicz stated had not obtained <br />all the answers yet and recommends they table the claim in today's claim audit <br />until further reseach is completed. <br /> <br />Attorney Mark Young gave update report on the EPC program. He will return to <br />next week's meeting with further information and answers to questions raised <br />by board members. <br /> <br />Attorney Janulewicz reported on Habitat for Humanity offer to purchase Lot 4 <br />Blk 3 Lambert's addition from the county that was referred to him from last <br />week's meeting. He had prepared resolution for county board's consideration. <br />Discussion followed on the handling of county owned real estate in order <br />to place back on tax rolls as soon as possible. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Landis to send out bid specifications to <br />all Realtors to list property and the lowest bid would list for one year all <br />the property obtained by county and that realtor would list for sale. Aber- <br />nethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted <br />no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Frauen to adopt Resolution #1485 as presented <br />by Deputy Attorney. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie and Stelk <br />voted yes, Quandt voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # I4-Y6- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE OF LOT FOUR (4), BLOCK <br />THREE ( 3 ), LAMBERT'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF GRAND <br />ISLAND, HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the sale of the above-described real <br />estate to Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity, Inc., for the sum <br />of One Thousand Five Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($1,500.00) is <br />found to be in the public interest and is a fair and reasonable~ <br />price for the property and that said sale be hereby approved. The <br />Chairman of the Board of Supervisors and the County Clerk are <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to take such actions <br /> <br />as are <br /> <br />necessary to convey said property and to execute, on behalf of the <br />County of Hall, Nebraska, any agreements, deeds, and other <br />documents necessary for the conveyance of the same. <br />Dated this d021a>ay of April, 1993. <br />
