<br />~ John Brownell, member of Library Board spoke briefly with the board about the
<br />. library board press conference held in regard to the bookmobile and would try
<br />to answer questions from the board members if they had any.

<br />Earl Ah1schwede, Attorney of Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity and Chuck
<br />Winkler, Chairman of the site selection committee were present in regard to
<br />their wishing to purchase 1205 E 8th street lot from the county board. They
<br />have a house to move to a lot and will remodel for family.
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Landis to sell the lot at 1205 E 8th to
<br />Habitat for Humanity, for $1500.00 and authorize Deputy Attorney Janulewicz to
<br />draw up the necessary paperwork. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />and Stelk voted yes, Quandt voted no. Motion carried on 6 yes, 1 no vote.

<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to accept and place on file the County
<br />Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts as presented. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
