'13~ /C) r ~ Landis, Chairman of Criminal Justice Committee introduced Joel Dalton, new Hall County Correction Director who began employment on AprilS, 1993. ~ COMMITTEE REPORTS: Hartman reported the Public Works Committee recommends the Public Works Direc- tor be authorized to obtain proposal for engineering services from Rockwell & Associates for some county road projects. Motion by Hartman, seconded by Frauen to authorize Dan Hostler, Public Works Director to contact Rockwell & Associates for hourly rate on engineering services. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Hartman reported the report of fertilizer tanks in road right of way, will be moved in 30 days. Frauen reported he and Quandt attended the HUD meeting last week. Abernethy attended College Park Board meeting. Leslie gave Building & Grounds Committee report and the following written recommendations. The BUildings and Grounds Committee recommends the Hall County Board of Supervisors authorize Department Superintendent Rick Stepanek to carry out the following projects: 1. repair the concrete driveway near the rear Jail door; 2. transplant five bushes on the west side of the Administration Building and replace with grass to help with snow removal; 3. install a $600 window vent in the Sheriff's Office for better air circulation in that building; 4. move the bushes and wood chips by the emergency exit on the east side of the Administration Building to the base of the electrical pole near the Buildings and Grounds Building and replace with a bench. Authorized Correction Director Joel Dalton to park his RV vehicle at the County Park until gets home purchased. Deputy County Attorney Jerom Janulewicz presented resolution prepared to transfer $293,750. from Inheritance Fund to 'Road Fund as authorized at last week's meeting. Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1481 as pre- ,sented. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. RESOLUTION #~ A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF ADDITIONAL FUNDS TO THE COUNTY ROAD FUND. WHEREAS, due to combined weather and traffic conditions various county roads within Hall County have been badly damaged; and
