<br />'13~ /C) r <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Landis, Chairman of Criminal Justice Committee introduced Joel Dalton, new <br />Hall County Correction Director who began employment on AprilS, 1993. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> <br />Hartman reported the Public Works Committee recommends the Public Works Direc- <br />tor be authorized to obtain proposal for engineering services from Rockwell & <br />Associates for some county road projects. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Frauen to authorize Dan Hostler, Public <br />Works Director to contact Rockwell & Associates for hourly rate on engineering <br />services. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted <br />yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Hartman reported the report of fertilizer tanks in road right of way, will be <br />moved in 30 days. <br /> <br />Frauen reported he and Quandt attended the HUD meeting last week. <br /> <br />Abernethy attended College Park Board meeting. <br /> <br />Leslie gave Building & Grounds Committee report and the following written <br />recommendations. <br /> <br />The BUildings and Grounds Committee recommends the Hall <br />County Board of Supervisors authorize Department <br />Superintendent Rick Stepanek to carry out the following <br />projects: <br /> <br />1. repair the concrete driveway near the rear Jail door; <br /> <br />2. transplant five bushes on the west side of the <br />Administration Building and replace with grass to help <br />with snow removal; <br /> <br />3. install a $600 window vent in the Sheriff's Office for <br />better air circulation in that building; <br /> <br />4. move the bushes and wood chips by the emergency exit on <br />the east side of the Administration Building to the base <br />of the electrical pole near the Buildings and Grounds <br />Building and replace with a bench. <br /> <br /> <br />Committee Member Irene Abernethy <br /> <br />~~w.""fa_ ~\L~ <br />Committee Member Tammie Stelk <br /> <br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Hartman to authorize Building & Grounds to do <br />the 4 projects as recommended. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, <br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Authorized Correction Director Joel Dalton to park his RV vehicle at the <br />County Park until gets home purchased. <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney Jerom Janulewicz presented resolution prepared to <br />transfer $293,750. from Inheritance Fund to 'Road Fund as authorized at last <br />week's meeting. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to adopt Resolution #1481 as pre- <br />,sented. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted <br />yes, none voted no.
