<br />9 3 r:~/f/ fL <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, FEBRUARY 16, 1993 <br /> <br />~ <br />j <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned <br />session and by published call with Chairman Gary Quandt presiding. <br /> <br />t..". <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Margaret <br />Landis; ,- Robert 'Leslie,;' Gary-Quandt.- and Tammie Stelk. Richard Hartman <br />was absent. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Abernethy. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of February 9th meeting were accepted as per mailing, on <br />motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie. Abernethy, Frauen, Landis, <br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none present voted no. <br /> <br />Jerry Janulewicz, Deputy County Attorney was present and advised the <br />board to go into executive session in regard to security program for <br />the courthouse. <br /> <br />9:03 A.M. Frauen made motion, seconded by Abernethy to ~nter into <br />executive session. Abernethy, Frauen, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and <br />Stelk voted yes, none present voted no. <br /> <br />9:12 A.M. Richard Hartman, arrived making all board meembers present. <br /> <br />9:32 A.M. Frauen made motion, seconded by Stelk to return to regular <br />session. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Ste~k <br />voted yes, none voted no. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Comri:tenceaudit dfclaims submitted for February. <br /> <br />Motion made by Frauen, seconded by Landis to allow Sheriff Arnett to <br />hire one full time and one half time persons to serve security for <br />the courthouse. Quandt and Landis voted yes, Abernethy, Frauen, Hart- <br />man, Leslie,and Stelk voted no. Motion did not pass. <br /> <br />Abernethy made motion, seconded by Leslie to hire two full time <br />employees to serve security in the courthouse. Abernethy, Frauen, <br />:Rartman, Leslie andStelk voted yes, Quandt and Landis voted no. <br />Mofiori:carried. These salaries amount are to come out of Misc. <br />general budget, line item #5-0500. <br /> <br />12:83 P.M. recessed until 1:30 P.M. <br /> <br />1:30 P.M. Received bids for janitorial services for the County <br />Administration Building, County Courthouse and Social Servic~ <br />Building. Bids were as',-follows - R D Aguilar -nB~-6-0---D-D--' <br />Total Services- 49,749.00 <br />Servpro - 59,968.00 <br />Landis made motion to refer the bids to the Building & Grounds <br />Committee, seconded by Frauen. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis <br />Leslie and Quandt voted yes, Stelk was absent. <br /> <br />1:35 P.M. Stelk arrived from recess. <br /> <br />Jerry Janulewicz and Jean Fisher, Director of Headstart explained <br />,',to: the Board concerning the overdrawn budget because of a lost <br />check. Janulewicz presented a resolution to transfer $36,500.00 <br />from the Inheritance Fund to the Headstart Fund as a loan until <br />the lost check could be re~issued. Landis made motion to accept <br />ahd sign resolution #1460, Leslie seconded the motion. Abernethy, <br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none <br />voted no. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR AN EMERGENCY TRANSFER OF FUNDS <br />TO THE HALL COUNTY HEADSTART PROGRAM. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, sufficient revenues have not been received by the <br />Hall County Treasurer to allow for the normal and budgeted <br />expendi tures of the Hall County Headstart Program for January, <br />1993, due to the loss in mailing of a check in the amount of <br />$36,$00.00 from the united States Government; and <br />
