Motion carried. <br /> <br />County Board Assistant report: (1) Building & Ground Committee tour with <br />current Janitor Service on Monday, January 25th at 10:30 A.M. (2) United Way <br />Committee on Needs meeting Monday, February 15th at 7:30 P.M. (3) reported on <br />insulating shop at Road Department with R-30 rating, low proposal of $4693. <br />from T.N.T. Insulating. Requested where cost was to be paid from. Board members <br />determined to be paid from Road Fund budget. (4) Howard Maxon, Communication <br />Civil Defense Director had requested Ellen Merrill to serve as Public Informa- <br />tion Officer at time of a disaster. (Board members agreed and County Board <br />Chairman to serve as alternate). (5) memo-from Earl Wilson was passed around <br />for board members review (6) Committees need to meet to evaluate Election <br />Commissioner, Veterans Service Officer and Building & Grounds Superintendent <br />anuual reviews (7) Correction Director applications are due Friday, January <br />22nd and will be reviewed by Criminal Justice Committee on Tuesday afternoon. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussed Weed Control Superintendent Schwartzkopf setting in on the inter-- <br />views for Weed Control Authority Board Member next Tuesday. <br /> <br />Chairman had handed out the 1993 Committee appointments today and requested <br />Board members approval. <br />Motion by Landis, seconded by Frauen to approve the Chairman Committee <br />Appointments as presented. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Quandt and <br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Leslie absent.
