Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, <br />none voted no, with Leslie absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Recommendation was read from Communications-Civil Defense Director in regard <br />to the Civil Defense Siren for Amick Acres, to be changed from proposed loca- <br />tion of Platte River Drive and Amick Avenue to approximately 1/4 mile west of <br />Hilltop Road directly west of the Greg Robb Place at 10475 South Hilltop Road. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to accept the recommendation for <br />moving the siren at Amick Acres location. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> <br />Hartman reported on Bookmobile Committee meeting held last night; also the <br />Mid Nebraska Individual Services met last Wednesday night but he did not <br />attend due to weather but they called him that he was elected to the Executive <br />Board. <br /> <br />Frauen reported Health Department Board Meeting tomorrow night. <br /> <br />Abernethy reported on Bookmobile Committee meeting she attended, also the <br />Convention & Visitor's Bureau Meeting, and Region III Governing Board meeting. <br /> <br />Stelk reported Election Committee members had met with Election Commissioner <br />and she is requesting new computer at cost of $4135.00 which she has money in <br />her budget for this year. Committee gave approval to bring in the new system, <br />and to keep the old system to see if any other office has need for this size <br />of computer.
