Frauen and Stelk were absent. <br /> <br />Mr. Quandt reported that he had paid for the copies he made to <br />distribute to the people of his district concerning the public <br />hearing on the Children's Village building. <br /> <br />Jan Pelland, County Assessor, presented tax correction notices # 698 <br />thru 730. Quandt made motion, seconded by Landis to accept and <br />authorize the Chairman to sign. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie <br />and Quandt voted yes, none voted no. Frauen and Stelk were absent. <br /> <br />McDermott - Miller were recommended to do the audit for the Clerk of <br />the District Court when the elected official changes in January. <br />Landis made motion, seconded by Quandt to have McDermott-Miller do <br />that audit. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie and Quandt voted yes, <br />none voted no. Frauen and Stelk were absent. <br /> <br />Abernethy reported on a Midland Area on Aging meeting and that she was <br />one of sixty that took the defensive driving course offered to county <br />employees. <br /> <br />Hartman reported that the Mid Plains meeting will be Thursday night and <br />at that time they will be reviewing wages and other matters pertaining <br />to employees. <br /> <br />Pelland was called back to the meeting in regards to the rooms the <br />reappraisal people are now using. She said she needed to keep the <br />upstairs room for storage but would only need the downstairs room <br />until after valuation of protests were completed. <br /> <br />Quandt made motion, seconded by Landis for a log to be kept of all <br />copies made on the Board Assistants copier and the use of the fax <br />machine. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie and Quandt voted yes, <br />none voted no. Frauen and Stelk were absent. <br /> <br />Chairman adjourned meeting at 2:58 P.M.
