<br />9/fF-" 333 <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING - NOVEMBER 29, 1994 <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned <br />session and by published call with Chairman Richard Hartman presiding. <br /> <br />:!O <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard <br />Hartman, Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammy Stelk. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Pastor Vernon Werner, Calvary Baptist Church. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of November 22nd meeting were approved by motion of Frauen, <br />seconded by Quandt. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, <br />Quandt and Stelk. <br /> <br />Jerry Janulewicz, County Attorney, reported on the sale of tax foreclosure <br />property, with several more scheduled. He presented a resolution with <br />5 more properties to be sold in the near future. <br />Motion made by Stelk, seconded by Landis to bid $1439.55 for attorney <br />fees and court cost for all lots in Phillips Subdivision. Stelk and <br />Landis withdrew the motion and second after discussion. <br />Motion made by Leslie, seconded by Abernethy to bid $900.00 on lot #3, <br />block 26, Original Town and fractional lot #3 block 26, Nagy's Addition <br />in the City of Grand Island. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt <br />and Stelk voted yes, Frauen voted no. Motion carried. <br />Quandt made motion, seconded by Stelk for a no bid on the Shelton dump <br />in Jackson Township. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt <br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. <br />Quandt made motion, seconded by Leslie for a bid of $1194.38 for lot #5 <br />of block of Dale Roush Second Subdivision. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, <br />Leslie and Quandt voted yes, Stelk and Frauen voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9:50 A.M. - Landis made motion, seconded by Quandt to go into executive <br />session. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, <br />Frauen voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9:59 A.M.- Quandt made motion, seconded by Frauen to return to regular <br />session. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk <br />voted yes, none voted no. <br /> <br />Stelk made mtoion, seconded by Quandt to place a bid of $1439.55 #1, the <br />lot in Phillips Subdivision and $16,848.44 on #5 in Jackson Township. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, Frauen <br />voted no. ' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # /10(1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BIDDING ON BEHALF OF <br />THE COUNTY OF HALL, NEBRASKA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parcels as set forth herein will be sold at judicial sales <br />conducted by the Hall county Sheriff on November 29, and 30, and December 1 <br />and 2, '1994, in satisfaction of the County's liens upon said parcels for <br />general real estate taxes, interest, fees, and court costs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Neb.Rev.Stat. Sec. 23-135 authorizes county boards to approve' <br />the payment for a particular piece of real property to be sold at auction by <br />adopting a resolution stating the maximum amount which the county may bid for <br />the particular piece of property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County Board of Hall County has been requested by its <br />attorneys' to adopt such a resolution concerning the following described <br />properties. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED that counsel for the County of Hall; Nebraska be <br />hereby appointed and authorized to bid on behalf of the County of Hall for the <br />purchase of, the following parcels of real property in the respective amounts <br />with such bids not to exceed the amounts set forth herein, to wit: <br /> <br />1. ALL OF LOTS EIGHT (8), NINE (9), TEN (10), ELEVEN (11), TWELVE (12), <br />THIRTEEN (13),' 'AND FIFTEEN (15), EXCEPT THE EAST OR EASTERLY FIFTY (SO) <br />FEET OF LOT FIFTEEN (15), AND THE NORTH OR NORTHERLY TWENTY (20) FEET OF <br />'WHAT WAS SANDE JO ROAD ADJACENT TO LOT FIFTEEN (15), IN PHILLIPS <br />SUBDIVISION IN THE NORTH HALF (Nl/2) OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER (NW1/4) OF <br />SECTION THIRTY-THREE ( 3 3), TOWNSHI P ELEVEN ( 11), NORTH, RANGE NINE' (9) <br />,WEST OF THE 6TH P.
