The new rooms will be available in <br />March. <br /> <br />Those speaking against were John Herman, Diane Johnson, Paula Broadway, <br />Bob Herman, Robert Blaise and Louise Miller. <br /> <br />Carrol Brown, Probation Officer, said he did not want to move to the <br />Children's Village Building as was indicated earlier. <br /> <br />Chairman submitted communications from Wayne And Doris Sass,Bethene Casteel, <br />Kathy Cole,Hugo & Susan Wiese,Strombergs, Jim Crosland, Members of the <br />Grand Island Ministerial Assocation, Earl Ahlschwede,Lisa Katzberg, <br />Terry Wegner, Pastors of the Roman Cahtolic Churches,Bishop Lawrence <br />McNamara, Nan Merrill, Hall County Housing Residence Council, Diane <br />Bremseth and Glenda Davis. <br /> <br />8:27 P.M. Frauen made motion, seconded by Quandt to close the public <br />hearing. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk <br />voted yes, none voted no. <br /> <br />After discussion, Quandt made motion, seconded by Frauen to deny the ~ <br />request of Children's Village being used for a homeless shelter. No <br />Frauen, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, Abernethy voted ~ <br />Hartman abstained, then decided that he could vote and changed his vote <br />to yes, making it 6 -1.
